Our Services
Livingstone District Business Association (LiDBA) is an association for micro, small and medium enterprises in the Livingstone district. We encourage and promote business development activities and networking for our members in Livingstone. This is what we do:
Consultancy/advice
Where possible we help (starting) businesses. We advise and use our contacts with governments and business organizations. For example: when registering with the Chamber of Commerce, when government legislation changes or in case of issues with the tax authorities.
Networking
The LiDBA members together form a strong business network. LiDBA organizes free Member Meetings regularly. Goal is to learn about doing business and to create interaction between members through professional organized meetings. Another example: LiDBA organizes expert-meetings and business visits to members in specific sectors.
Training
LiDBA organizes training courses on a regular basis (depending on the needs of members). These training courses and workshops are given by experts in the field. Members who participate pay a small personal contribution. For example, training in the field of business strategy, pricing, retail marketing and social media.
Public affairs
LiDBA represents and promotes the interests of all members towards local and regional government, the Chamber of Commerce, Zambia Development Agency, and other stakeholders. We share trade and investment information and have strong relationships with our mother organization
Zambia Chamber of Small and Medium Business Associations (ZCSMBA) and the Zambia Ministry of Commerce, Trade and Industry.
Promotion
LiDBA promotes all affiliated members through its communication channels. The products and services of members are brought to the attention of the public through a.o. presentations on location, the LiDBA website and social media.
For example, we have an interesting and popular community on Facebook. We also represent Livingstone’s business community at trade fairs and events organized by other organizations.
